3D scanning of a former hotel-restaurant aspart of a complete renovation. Given the many variations in the building andlevels, 3D scanning was by far the best way to measure the building in thisinstance.

The entire site was mapped in one day. Thepoint cloud was processed to generate accurate and detailed 2D CAD plans. Oneyear after the plans were drawn up, we were contacted by the client to develop anextra cross-section. As the entire building was digitally available to us, wedid not have to return to the site—the slice could be generated from theexisting point cloud.
